Providing first and second level help desk support that includes answering the help desk phone, logging all problems, researching problems for immediate resolution, and, if necessary, forwarding the problems to level iii support; assisting in the analysis of hardware software problems; ensuring that all problem tickets are appropriately tracked in the help desk ticket tracking system, assisting with configuring workstations, telecommunication, and systems access for users; assisting system administrators in maintaining telecommunications infrastructure, tracking and reporting on system inventories; assisting with backup functions to required platforms; Assisting with keeping all systems procedures documentation up to date and creating new documentation; Ensuring that corporate and industry best practices are followed in areas of responsibility conducting special projects as needed; support and maintenance of computers and systems to ensure integrity, security and availability.
